Do I need an account?
No — you can open the app and read the Qur'an, search, and navigate without an account. An account (Sign in with Apple, Google, or email) unlocks protected downloads, cloud sync of your bookmarks, reading position, and notes, and account security features.
How do I download a reciter for offline listening?
Open a reciter and tap Download. Progress shows in the small ring in the status line — tap it to see details, estimated time, and history. Once downloaded, that reciter plays fully offline.
What is Quran Pro, and what are AI credits?
Pro unlocks the AI features — Hifz (memorization) scoring, Super Search, note organizing, and voice-note transcription — plus cloud sync, with a generous monthly pool of AI credits. Every account, including free, gets a small monthly allowance so you can try the AI features. Your usage shows in the AI donut next to the download ring; tap it for a full breakdown and when it renews.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Quran Pro is an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel it any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your Apple device, or in the App Store. Cancelling stops future renewals; your Pro access continues until the current period ends.
Microphone permission
The microphone is used only for Hifz scoring and voice notes, when you start them. It is never used in the background.
Privacy & deleting your account
See our Privacy Policy & Terms. To delete your account and associated data, email support@taltola.com from your account address and we will remove it.
